By default, all questions you added would be Required (mandatory). Respondents must complete this question to submit or go to next page.
If you want to set a question as "Not required", simply click on it on Edit page and unselect the Required checkbox. Don't forget to save.

Please note: if a question if not Required, your respondents may skip it and the final data report would show you a number as "Skipped" ones.
